Fishback Creek Public Academy is a family and community-centered school where our primary focus is nurturing and cultivating the whole child. We embrace learning through intentional collaboration, inquiry, and risk-taking in a caring and safe environment. This creates the best learning experience for our scholars and sets the tone for academic growth and achievement.

Committed to education, our faculty and staff set high academic standards for all students while implementing highly engaging and rigorous instruction to foster a lifelong passion for learning. We offer a variety of programs to target the needs of all scholars in our learning community. Specifically, we extend our focus beyond our general academic programs by offering high ability, life skills, and developmental preschool programs.

At Fishback Creek Public Academy, we promote exploration and expanding students’ interests beyond the classroom. Thus, we prepare our future leaders through an assortment of academic and social clubs. LEGO Robotics, chess club, student council, news crew, and the acting club are just a few of the many options to stimulate student creativity while fostering positive relationships.

Just as important, we have supportive parents and community members who seamlessly work alongside our staff to sustain a productive learning environment.  Our dedicated PTO eagerly serves as an active partner in education and is an instrumental factor in the success of our school.  Additionally, various events such as literacy night, math night, family fitness night, and the annual fun festival allow families and community members to learn and discover alongside students and staff.  The importance of teachers, students, and parents working together to increase student achievement and provide a positive learning experience for every child is of utmost importance.

Early Dismissal/Leaving School During the School Day

Parents, please note, it is necessary to come into the main office, show identification, and sign your child out whenever taking him/her out of school during the school day. This safety precaution helps us protect the students for whom we are responsible. You are welcome to send a note ahead of time; however, your child will not be called down to the office until these procedures have been followed.  Though this process may cause a slight inconvenience, the benefits of this procedure are obvious. Thanks for understanding.
